My take is that these are being touted...

as good, reasonably affordable and readily available bourbons. They are definitely not the best bourbons money can buy. Having had everything from super premium to garbage in many different whisk(e)y genres, I will say that several on that list are excellent daily pours for the casual bourbon fan.
