Looking at the bracket...

Looks like WVU, JMU, Arkansas, and New Mexico got #1 seeds and Tech got a #4 seed. Kind of disrespectful concerning 9 of our 11 loses were to NCAA Tournament teams and Tech beat 3 NCAA Tournament teams (Rutgers, Miami, and Radford). Tech also beat 2 WNIT teams (Villanova and Dayton). Our bad loses were to UVa (only loss to a team with a losing record) and Georgia Tech (who would have been WNIT-bound if they would've chosen to go). Meanwhile JMU loss to Wake Forest, a team Tech easily defeated 2 times. JMU was the regular CAA season champs with a 25-5 record, but the CAA isn't the ACC (with 8 teams in the NCAA WBBT). I'm guessing JMU will sell more tickets than Tech. The WNIT is about selling tickets. Like mentioned numerous times, if Tech would've taken care of business and beat UVa, GT, and won a few of the close games vs. Top 25 ACC teams, we'd be in the Big Dance too.
