NCAA informs GT that it has found major recruiting violations committed

by former asst coach Darryl LaBarrie, and by a former friend of HC Josh Pastner. Of the 3 allegations, the NCAA says 2 are considered a "severe breach of conduct", considered to be the highest "Level 1" violations. Pastner's former friend was said to have provided more than $2000 in impermissible benefits to players in 2016 and 2017, including giving $300 to a recruit for a visit to an Atlanta strip club.
