A couple of softball highlights from yesterday

Contrast in defense.

In the first inning, Hokie shortstop Caitlyn Nolan guns down a runner at the plate on a beautiful play. This was the State leadoff batter who had tripled to start the game and I think it set the tone for the day.

In the 7th, Hokie freshman Maddie Banks turns a bunt into a "little league home run." Pure speed.

Let's hoping the Hokies continue thier momentum today and tomorrow.
