it should be the same for conference tournaments. You have to penalize the guys who sit to protect seeds. It's BS. We don't want everyone to turn into a bunch of Oranges. Lots of guys are trying to game the system. If you default out of Conference tournament, there needs to be at 5-10 seed number penalty for NCAA's or this will continue. If you skip the tournament all together, you should not get higher than a 17 seed.
