Garage door spring broke yesterday morning. Bought a new one and installed
it after a little difficulty. Good thing it didn't happen THIS morning, as I had to take my nephew and his wife to the airport at 5:30AM and that would have been a disaster. The door is sagging so bad in the center I have to have it replaced. No problem, only another $1100 on top of the $90 I just paid for the spring:( Second time I've had to replace the spring, but not as bad as when the cable on one side that lifts the door broke and the door left the track. That's when the door got tweeked. Fixed it with a long angle iron steel piece. Now it's a lost cause. Oh well, what's next?
