Peace of mind about our decision is definitely what I'm after...even if the decision is that we do nothing more than try to keep her comfortable. I just would hate to ignore a potentially treatable condition because we are assuming she has a liver tumor based on a grainy preliminary ultrasound. That scenario is unlikely, but possible.
