Wellllp, here's what I have to say about that video.

Yep, that's really a non-CGI 737 MAX 8 flying. But most of those maneuvers are rather optically deceptive -- the whole thing seems to have been shot from a chase helicopter which is also moving. It's also shot over terrain that has few, if any useful visual references for verticality and distance. You'll notice that in many shots of maneuvers you are NOT seeing the horizon -- the camera is shooting downward. You also see the start of many maneuvers, but not the termination and return to stable flight.

That takeoff which looks nearly vertical on screen is actually at about a 35-degree pitch. You can tell that from the momentary blip you see right afterward shooting the climbing aircraft from the GROUND where you can see a horizon.

Those near-90 degree banks you're looking at are nothing of the sort. Actually doing that in any kind of 737 would be quite dangerous -- when you do that, presto! no more lift! You better have plenty of recovery altitude.

Can't believe everything you see, and even if you believe it, it's still wayyyyyyy outside the bounds of prudence. I would imagine the designed flight envelope of the MAX 8 is nothing like what is (apparently) seen on the video.
