I understand the perspective that Joey is wrestling better at this point
However that is essentially speculation, which I don’t believe will have enough basis to be reflected in RPI or coaches’ rankings.
If you look at common opponents and best wins for the season, Prata doesn’t compare favorable with the other at-large hopefuls. The only argument seems to be heavily weighing recent results and penalizing mediocre losses. Prata had close matches against Mueller and Arujau but his best wins are over Heilmann, who won’t be a NCAA qualifier. That’s essentially all there is to his resume.
