The ones I talk to think for all intents and purposes they're already in.

But they also think ND won't join in full because they are making so much more money with the NBC Contract. They think it's driven by the cash. I don't know how much the NBC contract is worth, but I don't have the impression it's astronomically more. Plus the ACC has already agreed that ND can keep it if they join. ACC teams enjoy playing on NBC when they play at ND.

It truly comes down to 3 football games. ND is already in the ACC for everything else, goes to all the meetings, uses ACC officials for football, and Brian Kelly is on the Coaches teleconference 5 weeks out of the season just like every other ACC coach.

It's at the point that I don't know how much the ACC would gain from the 3 games other than the ability to move to 16 and have better scheduling than with 14. We would only get the equivalent of 1.5 games because some would be ND home games on the NBC contract. That's why the status quo doesn't bother me. The ACC might benefit more by having a new member in another market that brings 8 games of content.
