Lost me in the 3rd paragraph


He wrote "Back in December, I heard a lot of talk about how the Big 12’s TV rights deal with Fox expires in 2024 and that the Big Ten was positioning itself to take advantage of this by acquiring Texas and Oklahoma for 2025. The more I read about this, the more convinced I am that it is destined to happen." Isn't TX locked up with ESPN until 2031 or some crazy date? If so, ESPN would have to agree to cancel the network and allow Texas to go to Fox or whoever owns the B1G rights. Seems highly unlikely.
