It all depends if Magarity can stay out of foul trouble.
I'm sure Clemson will have a plan to get her in foul trouble. I think Baptiste and Jean will have to absorb some of those fouls inside the paint. That's where not having Michelle Berry hurts us. Tech will have to value its offensive possessions. Clemson is more athletic than we are, so they'll try to speed up the game and cause us to get out of rhythm and force us to make more turnovers. When Magarity is on the bench, we aren't that good on either side of the ball. That's what happened vs. Clemson. Magarity only played 29 minutes vs. her average of 38+ minutes/game. When Magarity was in the game, we had the lead. When she got her 3rd foul midway in the 3rd qtr. our big lead began to decrease. When she came back in, we maintained the lead, but when she got her 4th foul, Clemson got momentum. When Magarity got her 5th foul, Clemson blew us out in the final 5 minutes. The same deal with Blackshear and the men's team. Our lack of front court depth hurts us vs. larger, more physical teams. Magarity will have to play smart tomorrow.
