So to some degree it is hard to look bad. Certainly the $$$ as a positive measure is still there. Dissenting argument will probably be he watered the Midwestern brand down among the purest.

Regardign expansion, obviously you take PSU (unless of course you are the Big East or ACC in the 1980s!).
Never really came close with ND- can't criticize for making an effort. IMO allowing Mizzou to get to the SEC was a sizable miss (much better fit then UMD or Rutgers) . Time will tell with UMD and Rutgers but the short term results havent been good.
