I agree the Richmond area has a ton of Hokies


My point was that even if VT was having a good/great season, I am not sure how many Hokie fans living in VA would make the trek (driving, flying, train, bus, etc.) down to Atlanta for a regular season game against GT. I do think a percentage would make the trek, but I am not sure it would be enough to sellout Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Then again, I am assuming that GT won't come close to having 55,000 fans (capacity of Bobby Dodd Stadium) attending the game. Less than 55,000 when you factor in the number of tickets given to the visiting school. It may even be tough to achieve 75% attendance if we assume that VT needs to have 15,000-20,000 fans attending the game to achieve that goal.
