The fact that we're this competitive with the Hoos is a testament to...


...VT's commitment to excellence in all sports. The Hoos have been pretty dang good over the years in non-revenue sports, and the Hokies closing the gap like this is fantastic.

This demonstrates the positive effects of becoming a long time member of a stable conference, something we haven't experienced since the old Southern Conference days. That was a long time in purgatory, while UVA reaped the benefits of ACC membership. Thank goodness we've finally arrived home!
