With full membership in the acc and the network they wkkk have the revenue stream . Also bc is private and have budget flexibility in a different funding model than public. Sorta like duke

UConn tried and stretched it with expanding football . I personally think putting their stadium far away from the rural campus of UConn reallh broke connection to the campus . They fitted with bc and the old big east. Now they play schools with. No ties. No longer schedules with bc Pitt cuse and basketball with providence St. John’s etc . They are sorta like umass.

This is lesson of what it reallh takes to be competitce in power five conference .also west va was very fortunate to get the big 12 lifeline . They could be in Simular situation. But they are fine now .
