Injuries happen. See Brewer and Jackson.

2020 you have QP and BB, plus a very inexperienced KK.

Clemson has 4 freshmen QB on their roster, one of which is Trevor Lawrence, their starter.

If Trevor gets injured how would you feel with three inexperienced backups?

Roster management is alive and well in Blacksburg.
Nothing in recent moves says anything about QP.
He still has to prove himself but his upside is excellent.
