I've posted numerous times serious drop off after Petty. Recruiting is

getting better but there are 5-8 major power house HS for girls lacrosse and VT has just a handfull of players from those programs and none from McDonough and only 1 from ND Prep. Nothing off Long Island and very little from NJ/NY areas

To be the best you have to recruit from the best.

Team has to win the next 6 heading into Carolina. Anything < 10 wins won't sniff the tourney this year
