Yes there has been a decrease in wild honey bees but the amount of


honey bees alive is larger now due to the amount of bee keepers there are now and the hives that they watch over. The freaking out about the honey bee going away is actually not a real thing. The hive collapse stuff is way down for bee keepers as most have figured out what was causing that. It has to do with a mite and how you manage your hives. My wife has about 5-6 hives currently so I have first hand knowledge on all things honey bee!
