Football is declining.


And it starts at the youth and high school level. It is declining in popularity. Fewer kids are interested in playing it. And it seems to be regionalizing itself in the Southeast and Texas.

The decline is rather gradual though. It's not rapid. Now as far as stadium attendance goes, with all of the good television coverage there will need to be some incentive to go see it in person to keep the crowds.
