If you want a more simple explanation of the scoring system, I thought the site I linked was decent. In my opinion, the most confusing aspect for the average viewer is what defines “control” for takedowns. To be honest, I had close friends wrestle in high school and have been paying attention to VT wrestling for a decade and still don’t fully understand it myself. My searches didn’t find turn up any useful information so if anyone has a good link or can provide details regarding control, I’d be thankful as well.
