The only entities that I could see bidding on it would be a union pension or insurance company, but that would be only if the PAC12 guaranteed them $XX per year return or XX% per year.

Plus, at some point, the entity buying in will want it's 10% investment back, then, the new PAC12 entity will either have to buy it back for $500M or allow them to sell it on the open market.
