If the 2 AL schools ended up switching to the East Division

which makes perfect sense given the 2 important cross-division games (Auburn vs. UGA and AL vs. TN) would now be division games, then OU could finish anywhere between 1st-4th depending on who ends up being the 8th member in the West Division (assuming Mizzou switches to the West) and how well TAMU has OU's number.

I guess I am also wondering if OU could end up experiencing a similar fate as Nebraska if OU ended up joining either the Big Ten or SEC. Logically it shouldn't happen, but I don't think too many people predicted that Nebraska would decline as much as they did when they joined the Big Ten.
