Well....


I owned a search firm years ago....that's what I did, place people. I got out of it when the world ended in 2008 only cause i was tired of talking to myself all day(no clients, no hiring) and dusted off my tech skills and got back to being a product manager.

This was a long time ago, but i believe that Linked In is a good way to network and it is a good way to keep the world informed on what you are up to. I just had a recruiter call me today in fact, trying to get me to apply for a job. I get pinged probably twice a month, although my skill set is pretty rare.
