I don't understand why some want to push every player we liked that played here into coaching. J-Ham did things the right way to earn his spot. Playing and coaching are two different things. I don't dislike D-Hall, but I don't want his first coaching gig to be in Blacksburg. Torrian Gray had to coach elsewhere first too. Putting someone in a spot just because they were a good player is small time thinking. I will probably get something thrown at me for saying this, but how real was the Skins and Maryland interest in D-Hall? Apparently he didn't land either job because he was waiting on one and missed out on the other. Hmmmmmm? I think there is some self promotion on his part going on. Nothing wrong with that, I am sure he held conversations, but if he was the top candidate and actually wanted the position, I think he walks away with at least one of those gigs. Yeah, I am flat out saying he was exaggerating, or he assumed he was a stronger candidate than he was..preparing for rocks to be thrown in 3, 2, 1..
