Absolutely, I hated Maryland before he went there and there is no
reason to start rooting for them now. If JJ wanted us to root for him he should have stayed at VT, but once he turns his back on us he shouldn't expect us to hope for the best for him.
He is leaving because he knew he could not win the starting job. No one should be guaranteed the starting position without having to compete. Does he expect to retain the position no matter how poorly he may play? You should not be handed the position when you come back from an injury just because you had it before the injury. The best player should always play, and if after an injury you are not the best then work hard and try to become the best so you can win it back.
