When I go to VT, I usually fly into either Charlotte or DC and drive. Usually involving connecting flights. Basically an all day affair each way. I could fly into Roanoke but the schedules/flights are more limited (and substantially more expensive). I could easily send my son to a “swanky day school” and there would be no way I could realistically get to more than a couple of games in Blacksburg. I have a job and other commitments and I’m sure his parents do as well. That said, I would support him in whatever choice he made and on the weekends I couldn’t attend I’d watch on TV.
