Not going crazy. Last season's excuse was conditioning and the elevation..

in Boulder. Tech focused more on strength and conditioning this off-season. Maybe they are experiencing an hangover from the JMU loss? I know that Tilley didn't play and she's an excellent defender for a true freshman. I like the talent on this team and I acknowledged that we have a very young team, maybe the youngest in the ACC? Besides our youth issues, we also have a team that has to get used to being the hunted instead of being the hunter. Before Sung arrived, how any ranked opponents celebrated after beating us? In 4 days, I've watched 2 ranked teams (one the defending national champion) happily celebrating a win in Blacksburg. Before Sung, it was expected to beat Tech. Now it's an accomplishment. Our program will have to grow into the role as being the hunted. John Sung mentioned that numerous times during preseason interviews. All we can hope for is for this young team to improve with each game. We just didn't do that today. I still believe the future looks bright for Tech women's lacrosse.
