Cell phone data service in large gatherings in a place like Blacksburg

in a place like Lane Stadium tends to be overwhelmed due to the lack of cell towers and other data transmission equipment. The need for a high capacity is not needed on a daily basis and thus is not built. Urban areas with much more population tend to have more availability. For example, at UNC’s Kenan Stadium the data service is excellent because there are several hospital facilities in the vicinity of the stadium and it is much more populated in the area than Blacksburg. At the UNC game this past season they actually had a pretty good turnout for our game and we had excellent service/data access.

In places like Duke or Wake there generally aren’t that many folks in attendance at football games. So, you would not have the same issues, though those areas are more heavily populated and probably have the equipment.
