It Sure Has - Now playing in a completely different tourney


BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech softball coach Pete D'Amour has announced that the Hokies will head to Charleston Southern's campus this weekend, playing at the Wingate by Wyndham Invitational.

The four-team tournament, made up of host Charleston Southern, Detroit Mercy, East Tennessee State and Virginia Tech, will begin on Friday and conclude on Sunday.

Tech (5-0) will play on Saturday at 10 a.m. ET versus Detroit Mercy (3-2) and at 2:30 p.m. against Charleston Southern (3-4). The Hokies will face ETSU (2-0-2) at 1 p.m. and finish with Charleston Southern at 3:15 p.m., wrapping up the four-game slate.
