been that way for me for 30+/- years. not worth following except for the


performances of pro VT alums - for purely Hokie reasons, only.

for instance: a great LB, DB or QB does well on pro-teamA for several years. gets traded/free agents to another pro-teamB. the guys with whom he had melded on teamA and boosted him to perform so well are left behind.
now he's got a new "supporting cast." or maybe not so supportive - not his personality type; different coordinator/coaches; another offensive style/defensive look; maybe even a coaching change after a year with struggling teamB.
why should i be loyal to this team one year, and then it's different players the next year.

i gave up.
