For some odd reason, I think all of the reasons you cited can be overcome


If more VT alumni start giving and/or increase their donations, we could easily catch and pass Clemson financially. I just don't see that as something we can't overcome.

What I do see as an obstacle is geography. Clemson being further south, is closer to the talent pool. That's what we have to overcome.
