non-grad transfers are agreeing to sit out a year (with exceptions of course) and have often been at their original school more than one year.

grad transfers have put in enough time and effort to earn a degree

I'm sure there's some "entitlement culture" in the transfer process, but be careful how broad that brush is.

We also should be willing to accept that sometimes "I deserve better" or "they don't appreciate me" actually has some truth to it
