That would depend on the injury. I had a toe injury, and the goal was


immobilize it. If it were an ankle, etc.,you would be right.

I had a soft cast, then had to switch to a hard cast simply to keep the toe from wiggling.

The fact that he is not on crutches strongly suggests that this is indeed a toe issue.
