.,,, before he finally called a time out. I had a fraternity brother who was a member of that team. He told me once that during that timeout, Moir’s hands were shaking and he was “white as a sheet”. He didn’t say anything during the entire time out except right at the end when he told them to “Play defense”. That was it.
Moir was a good recruiter and a good teacher of the game, but was not good at all under pressure when the lights came on. I was at Tech during that time and I always thought that he was worth about 4 to 6 points for the other team.
