U of L seems to struggle more with Tech than most ACC teams. U of L has been blowing out most ACC teams all season except for Notre Dame. We had our chances late but missed FT's and bad passes did us in. Then again, Louisville is loaded with McDonald's All-Americans and other top 50 national high school players. Their bench has more talent than our 5 starters. I hope the ladies can use this game to gain confidence and get better. I see 3 games that we should win and 3 other games where it's a toss-up. If we split the 6 games, we end up 5-11 and a WNIT invite. I can't see us going 6-0 in those games ("IF" we did, we would be 8-8 and NCAA-bound). IMHO, I think we need 7 ACC wins to have a chance at the NCAA Tournament but I don't have enough confidence that the team can do that (win 5 of their final 6 ACC regular season games). Going 4-2 would have us 6-10 in the ACC which isn't good enough unless we win 2 ACCWBBT games. Looks like another WNIT which would be a disappointment this season.
