He’s quick enough to get past opponents’ perimeter defense but he’s not good at finshng at the rim. The pull-up jumper in the middle of the lane is wide open for him and its an easy shot. If he starts taking it and making it, that will force defenses to collapse on him which will, in turn, open up outside looks for others. Right now, opposing teams are overplaying our outside shooters because we don’t have a point guard who’s a threat to penetrate and finish.
