...we have good players but not always in the positions of greatest need. We've had some emergent gaps and lacked some depth to fill them. Those gaps seem to be the result of some team-culture housecleaning that has swept away some upperclassmen who weren't really Fuente guys.

I expect those gaps to be smoothed over in time and that we'll be pretty good again soon -- with Bud's capacity as a DC and Fuente's capacity as an OC/QB guru...and Vice's ability to recruit some really good OL -- we have the makings of success down the road.

I expect we'll be back to the 10-win level in a couple of years (looking at you, QP, to be the man).
