Those aren't the only 2 reasons to transfer


I suspect many just want to play...they recognize they're pretty much at the end of that road and would rather go have a chance at being a bigger fish in a smaller pond. I'd certainly be interested in examples of kids who went grad transfer in hopes of building their (non-athletic) resumes.

We don't have to disagree...I'm open to what you have to say with respect to degrees, but I've not really seen it other than in academia...and even there it doesn't seem to really be a big deal unless you're shooting for the pinnacle. Maybe I coulda been so much more though.
