recruit I'd be wondering the same thing and reaching out to anyone I could to try to get the "real" story. Ideally you'd talk to as many people both leaving and staying as you could (and it's completely possible he did). I'm sure every rival school has tried to paint the transfers as negatively as possible and it's up to our coaches to try and refute that and explain what happened. Choosing to go somewhere else because you're concerned with the number of guys transferring out is as valid a reason as any. Now I personally wouldn't have chosen to go with Mack Brown instead... but I'm not the one making the decision or spending the next 4-5 years there.
