I know that is a common expression, but is that statistically true?


Plus, just because a QB may not be overwhelmed in his first Super Bowl doesn't necessarily mean his team will win the game. At least I don't think Ken Anderson or Joe Montana were overwhelmed playing in their first Super Bowl against each other (Super Bowl XVI).
