USA Wrestlers smashed by Russians in Day 1 Yariguin ...


All USA 1st round winners (Gilman at 57 kg, Colon at 61 kg, and Green/Chamberlain at 70 kg) were blitzed by their Russian opponents in the Quarterfinals. Gilman lost 12-6, Colon lost 10-1, Green lost 10-2, and Chamberlain lost 12-0. Zane Richards and Cory Clark were 1st round losers so they are out. Looks like only Gilman and Chamberlain will wrestle in repechage. Not a good start for USA.
