Like that and there is no aspect that is "cool", unique, or enjoyable about it.

When I played the basket seems like its stuck in the middle of the court because there's so much floor around. It's hard to shoot (for me at least), hard to get your berrings for where you are on the court, and if feels huge. Same goes for officiating on that kind of court.
As a coach, it was awkward standing out there. At least the courts I was on werent elevated because I would hate to have your players sitting down there....eye level with your crotch/ass.
It's gotta suck sitting floor level as a fan as well. It's gotta feel like when you would go to tournaments at rec centers and would have to sit on the adjacent court and watch the game on the other court.
There is no redeeming qualities for that type of court.
Heck, it's worse at Vandy where the team is on the baseline and the coach is about a half court away.
