That everyone else wants you kinda won the lottery by definition. There are thousands of kids who do the hard work in sports with no benefits or play ball at some small college. Thousands more who just aren’t good enough to do any of the above but would be happy to put in all that work.
It’s ok to say a D1 athlete is a blessed individual and is given a lot of advantages. Why is there always such shame in admitting a good thing and a bizarre attempt to turn the tables so that someone is being wronged. Hell there are even been NBA players that talked about being exploited and treated like a slave. Gimme some of that
