Notre Dame has peddled that deal more than once. The Big-12 did not take it. That is the best way to put the finishing touch on that issue. I assume you are a Notre Dame alum so I will be nicer than I normally would be on this topic. I do not think Notre Dame is worth the bother in any aspect. Do I fault ND for doing what they do? Nope. More power to them in fact, but no conference should allow Norte Dame access without being all in. If they can't do that, Notre Dome can find someone else that will.

The Big East did and it was a major mess propagated by Notre Dame. Do you know when the Big East was trying to expand with more all sports members what ONE school they put in charge of that effort? Notre Dame, the one school that did not play football at all in the Big East. Whether by design or happenstance, Notre Dame ends up screwing people over and the time will come that they do it to the ACC. The ACC has been very accommodating to ND, but when the time comes that something else is in NDs better interest, they will treat the ACC like a doormat.

Well, I did try to keep it nice, apologies. I really hate Notre Dame. I could stomach the school if they could actually back up their arrogance, but only once in 30 years do they ever rise to the top in any thing. Most of their alumni are uneducated in anything sports related, but not all. The few that know something all hang out on a couple of websites and have nothing but disdain for anyone else. Par for the course.
