For at least 75% of the games (rough guess), 35 points should be enough to win the game. Even if the game had turned into a type of game where both offenses score a TD on every possession, the fate of the game would still rest with the defense and stopping the opposing offense from converting a 2-point conversion attempt in regulation or OT.
