the season the players are so busy with school and prepping for the next opponent that you rarely see massive improvement from anyone on any team. You have what you have. We started the year on D with only 2 starters with any experience then proceeded to get guys hurt and banged up which means the starters that had very little experience were replaced with players that had even less experience. We had a rough year, it happens.
