I agree he deserves a chance to fix it.


What is unclear is how much time is considered to be "reasonable" for him to fix the problem. I think most (maybe all) fans are willing to give him the time to fix it because they assume he will be able to fix it. If for some reason he is unable to fix it, then will fans still be okay with the amount of time that was given to Foster or will majority of fans retrospectively consider those years given to Foster as "lost years" that may have even helped set the program back. Normally the thought wouldn't cross my mind until I noticed people making retrospective conclusions about Beamer's career (i.e. Beamer stayed 4 years too long) and I wonder if a similar fate could be in store for Foster.
