that shows the recruiting gap caused by Coach Beamers last few years. And you can about throw away Coach Fu's first recruiting class since he had around a month to do what he wanted.

Thus, the youth. And guess what?? Young players make good coaches look bad just like a poor OL is going to make a good QB look bad.

People analyze these things at such a black & white, shallow level it amazes me.

"We ended 7-8 so we suck and the coaches suck!!"

Well we had the youngest team in the ACC & one of the youngest in the country!

The next two youngest in the ACC?? UNC & Looserville. And they weren't even close to being as young as Tech.

What happened there this year, you may ask?? Neither made bowls & both lost their coaches.

Coach Fu took a CRAZY year where we lost our top talent to the NFL, or they were booted. Then we lost Hill to being kicked off, Vinny Mihota was never 100% all year, Gaines was lost to an injury, JJ was lost to an injury, Webb was lost before the season even started!!

Tell me ANY school that's lost that much and went to a bowl?
