Ball can move and have control.
So you’re operating with a false premise...and completely mischaracterizing what happened. The ball was never “resting on the ground.”
It was called a catch. Given the rule and the video evidence, there was no reason to overturn.
You make it sound like an egregious call — but the refs and announcers didn’t think so. No one pointed to the call post game and complained. You’re making it sound like the Rams PI no call.
If you don’t like the rule, fine. But it was a catch by the rule.
